Below are some basic tips on health care for your horses. These tips are based on the health care program I have established for my own horse. Your horses needs will vary based on the breed of your horses and the geographical area that you live in.

My Worming Tips

I worm every 6 weeks cause I like the way my horses look.

Ivomec same as Ivomectrin-Ivomec is an injectable cattle wormer. Use one cc per 100 lbs. It can be given orally or injected under the skin. It gets everything except tape worms and encysted small strongyles. It's the one that kills bots.

Tapeworm-double dose of Strongid p.

Encysted small strongyles-double dose of fendazabole(Safe-Guard or Panacur) Panacur Power Pack. How ever you do it, you double dose 5 days in a row.

Quest is to dangerous to try.

After killing freeze-Ivomec- in 6 weeks Ivomec-in 6 weeks double dose Strongid p-in 6 weeks Ivomec-in 6 weeks-(fendazabole)Panacur Power Pack-in 6 weeks Ivomec-in 6 weeks Anthelicide-in 6 weeks Ivomec.

Keep rotating. This is a schedule to put a healthy horse on. If you have any worries about your horse and parasites, have your vet check your horse and see what he says.
